Our Renaissance Vest is a new design! If you know us, you know we love utilizing our scrap fabrics and this is a perfect example of how much fun you can have doing just that! The majority of the vest is made in organic hemp french terry. We used organic hemp waffle thermal, terry and sweater knit scraps pieces to hang from the waist of this garment, creating a tattered, diverse look. This particular vest style features brass snaps up the front center and a wide hood, also adorned with brass embellishments. Hand dyed using fiber reactive colors in a dusty lavender variegation. Designed and created for comfort, layering and style. Costumes that come to mind that could be dressed up with this item include anything from elven to pirate to peasant to a variety of witch like beings…you decide and enjoy all the fun at hand!

:: HAND DYED FABRIC AND ORGANIC TEXTILE CARE ::

We ask that you take good care of your Calico garment especially in the washing process:

1. Machine wash on cold

2. Wash with other delicates

3. AIR DRY FOR BEST AND LONGEST LASTING COLOR and FABRIC ELASTICITY RESULTS
*** you can dry your garment in the machine, but I do not recommend for the majority of the time, air dry and then place in dryer for ten minutes or so to get the stiffness out. If you do choose to do this, use a medium heat or tumble dry ***

4. BEST TO OPT FOR A NATURAL LAUNDRY DETERGENT (Example :: ECOS) For the earth, for us all!
